LG's Crystal touchscreen phone launched

LG Electronics today launched its much awaited touch screen phone 'Crystal' at the ongoing CommunicAsia 2009 in Singapore.

The phone, GD900 Crystal, features a transparent keypad. A close look at the keypad tells that its not a real kepad, rather a trackpad much like the ones we use in laptops.

The phone also incorporates LG's Gesture Command technology and it is perfectly complemented by its S Class UI.

Among the standard features, the Crystal comes with 8 megapixel auto focus camera with flash, 1.5 GB on-board memory which can be expanded up to 16 GB. This 3G enabled phone also has WiFi, FM radio, D1 standard video recording capability at 30 fps.

It is believed to be available in India by the end of this month.
